claytonthetrack

Custom production for artists building their own sound.

Custom beats built around your voice, references, and artistic identity.

Not type beats.
Sound direction.

Most producers sell pre-made beats behind a license and an instant checkout. The same file ships to everyone.

I work the other way. One custom production, built around your voice, your references and the sound you're chasing, with a real call, real revisions and a final delivery shaped for your release.

What most producers do

  • Pre-made and sold as-is
  • Leased, non-exclusive licenses
  • Instant checkout, no contact
  • The same beat fits any artist
  • Little room for your input
  • Made to sell fast

What I do instead

  • One beat, built around your voice
  • Your references become the direction
  • A call first, then real collaboration
  • An arrangement shaped for your release
  • WAV and stems, made to build on
  • A sound that feels like you, not everyone

Who it’s for

For artists building a world, not just a song.

You don’t need every detail figured out. You need a direction strong enough to shape the sound.
01

You have references, but you don’t want to copy them.

Hear the influence. Keep your identity.

02

Your voice deserves more than a random beat folder.

Production shaped around your tone, cadence and identity.

03

You’re building a project, not collecting instrumentals.

Every song should contribute to the same world.

04

You need a producer who thinks beyond the loop.

Arrangement, sound design and delivery are part of the record.

Sound Development

Build a sound people remember.

A collaborative process built around your voice, your references and the world behind your project.

  1. Direction

Define the world. Reference analysis, artistic direction and a clear sonic foundation for the project.

  2. Production

Build around the artist. Custom production and sound design shaped around your voice, energy and identity.

  3. Development

Turn the direction into records. Arrangement, revisions, creative feedback and final delivery for the release.

Process

From first conversation to delivery.

  1. 01

    Discovery Call

We discuss the artist’s voice, references, project and intended direction.

  2. 02

    Sound Map

I turn the references and ideas into a clear sonic direction.

  3. 03

    Project Proposal

The project scope, deliverables, rights and next steps are confirmed in writing.

  4. 04

    Production & Development

I build and refine the music through focused creative feedback.

  5. 05

    Delivery

The approved final files are delivered according to the agreed proposal.

Collaboration

Every project is scoped individually.

Pricing depends on the number of tracks, the timeline and the level of creative involvement. It starts with a discovery call, where we map the direction together before any commitment.

No fixed packages. No marketplace checkout. We start with your vision, then build the sound.

For custom projects, I build around the artist — not a fixed beat menu.
Questions

Before you reach out

What to know before we start shaping the direction.

1. Is this a beat store?

This page is focused on custom Sound Development projects built around the artist’s voice, references and direction. Existing productions are available separately, while custom projects begin with a discovery call.

2. Can I release the music commercially?

Commercial use is defined in the written project agreement before work begins. The exact rights, credits and splits are confirmed there.

3. Do I receive the stems?

Yes. Final WAV files and production stems are included with completed custom projects. Any additional deliverables are specified in the project proposal.

4. How do revisions work?

Focused revisions are part of the development process. The exact scope is confirmed in the project proposal before production begins.

5. Can I request exclusivity?

Exclusivity can be discussed and only applies when it is explicitly included in the written project agreement.

6. What if my direction is not fully defined yet?

You do not need to have everything figured out. Reference tracks, visual ideas, unfinished demos, a mood or even a specific feeling can be enough to begin. The discovery process helps turn those ideas into a coherent sound direction.

7. How much does a project cost?

Every project is scoped individually. Pricing depends on the project’s scope, deliverables and level of creative involvement.

8. How do we start?

Book a discovery call and share your project, references and intended direction. From there, the Sound Map and written Project Proposal establish the next steps before production begins.
